Keep this page away from the children. The answers below are suggestions only — change the hiding places to suit your own home.

  1. Clue 1Hide at: Fridge (tape the clue to the front)
  2. Clue 2Hide at: Bookshelf
  3. Clue 3Hide at: Shoe rack or front door mat
  4. Clue 4Hide at: Under a pillow
  5. Clue 5Hide at: Sofa cushion
  6. Clue 6Hide at: Next to the bathroom sink (final clue points to the treasure)

Setup

  1. Hand the children Clue 1. Hide Clue 2 where Clue 1 points, Clue 3 where Clue 2 points, and so on.
  2. Put the treasure box (with a small prize for every child) at the last hiding place.
  3. Use the blank cards for your own hiding places or extra rounds.

Safety

Only hide clues in safe, easy-to-reach spots. Keep children away from stairs without supervision, ovens and stoves, cleaning supplies, medicines, windows, tools and any room you'd rather they didn't enter.
